DIY Cross Quilt

In addition to the holidays, I’ve been spending much of my time making this queen-sized quilt for my bed.  Taking about 35 hours from start to finish, creating my first quilt was truly a labor of love.  I started off by creating a pattern, and figuring out how many strips and squares of black cotton and cream muslin I would need, then cut, pin, stitch, repeat.  Needless to say, mornings (and nights) have become so much better.
